I don't read greek.
I think on one of the first of his posts are some icons of Saint Ephraim of Nea Makri, I don't know how to say his title in english. But he is, in a certain sense a "new" saint.most of these seem pretty old any shit newer?
I'm not a specialist on the matter but I don't think those icons really fit the requirements of Nicaea II standards to be considered proper icons. Again, I'm not specialist.
Don't know of this saint either.
Catholics and orthodox both hold as cannonical Nicaea II, which is the seventh eucumenical council defining the use of icons. But catholics hold it of great lesser importance than orthodox do. As @korg pointed out, this leads to the unfortunate use of "artistic liberties" in the making of icons by certain catholics past and present, rendering some of their icons unusable and improper for religious practice for the orthodox. To put it lightly. Is there a difference between orthodox and catholic icons
Wait you're actually religious and not just ragebaiting ?like gemerson and him yapping to me to become catholic and worship jеsus, but never giving me a reason why. i explain my faith and he just replied with bait.
i told ppl many times but they won't listen.Wait you're actually religious and not just ragebaiting ?
